Quarterly Book Review: Apr-Jun
These past three months have been a little hectic for me, I feel like I’ve barely read! (lol, my idea of ‘barely reading’ is probably a lot different than most). I mostly focused on business and personal growth genres. Hopefully that will interest some of you! I had to throw in a couple fiction novels as my guilty pleasure too, of course.
You are a Badass at Making Money by Jen Sincero
I love Jen Sincero!! SHE is a badass. She makes reading about self-help type topics so light and fun. Highly recommend both of her books. She really hit the nail on the head for me on how I perceive money— that money is an energy and it’s all about your mindset. It really is true, your perception of something totally determines your outcome.
Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren
SO so so cute. This book is about two high school sweethearts who reunite later in life. The novel switches back and forth from past to present. I could not put this one down.
Lead Generate: 61 Days to Double Your Pay by Scott Groves
I almost didn’t include this one since I read it for work, and there’d be no reason to read this unless you’re in real estate or the mortgage business. BUT just in case anyone is curious! Basically you read one page a day for 61 days, so this one flew by.
The Defining Decade: Why Your Twenties Matter— And How to Make the Most of Them Now by Meg Jay
Wow. Every person in their 20’s should read this book. I’ll leave it at that.
The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware
Not quite done with this one yet, but getting close! I love a good thriller. Ruth Ware has a couple other amazing books too— her writing style is absolutely phenomenal.
What shall I read next?! P.S., I included the one piece I’m wearing— it’s on major sale!
