Hair Clip Trend — Modishly Mackenzie

Hi everyone 🙂 hope June has been a fabulous month for you all!! As we’re nearing the end of the first month of summer, I wanted to talk about one of my favorite new trends— hair clips. 🤩

It seems that any sort of accessory for the hair is alllll the rage these days. I think it’s such a simple way to bring an outfit to the next level. I’ve always felt that accessories are really what sets one outfit apart from the next— it really heightens any look! So with that being said, of course I was so on board with the idea of hair clips.

I’ve gotten a variety of options that I’ve slowly implemented with borderline plain outfits. I don’t like when things get TOO busy, so a simple look paired with the hair clips is enough for me. I like both the bobby pin and barrette styles, with pearls, rhinestones, or even just metal finishes. I think they’re all so cute!!! Love the variety.

For this look I wore a feminine white bodysuit from Forever 21 with my all time favorite jean shorts. They’re definitely an investment, but they are such high quality, so versatile and a total classic that will never go out of style, which makes them worth the price. My big, loose waves really complement the pearl bobby pins I styled my hair with. I love layering multiple clips on one side. You can also wear them with a piece of your hair pulled back, or even to secure a half up, half down style. My white espadrilles are sold out, but they’re still available in black.
