Hi. 👋🏼

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in style, beauty, travel, home & food.

Muscle Tee Trend

Muscle Tee Trend

When I first read muscle tees were in style I was like “ummmmm wait, like the mens work out tee’s?” I was picturing those tops all the guys wore to gym class back in the day or to work out and look cool— where the arm holes go like allllll the way down to the bottom practically lmao. Then when I saw a true photo of the style, with the padded shoulders and 80’s vibes, it made a lot more sense. I was SO into it— something about a masculine shoulder like that really spoke to me. A lot of the tops don’t go down too low in the arm holes, or if they do they will have a little protective area to hide your bra.

I styled two looks, one much more casual than the other, so you guys can get some ideas on how versatile these tops can truly be! Check them out below.

The first look features a black muscle tee. I found this one on Nasty Gal for a super affordable price (mine is only $10!). I paired it with an acid wash/tie dye vibe skirt, fall booties and gold accessories. The skirt I’m wearing is actually 30% off right now!

For the second look, I went for a more casual feel. This beige toned top is from ASOS. ASOS has a huge variety of this style, with sooo many good brands like Mango, Levi’s, Free People, etc. I styled it with a pair of straight leg denim, white sneakers and my new purse 🤩 I’ve had my eye on this baby for soooo long, so I decided to reward myself for capping AND being in the top 20% at work!
