5 Ways to Style Graphic Tees

5 Ways to Style Graphic Tees

Hi everyone! Today I’m going to break down five different ways to style graphic tees.

I don’t know if you guys are on a graphic tee spree like me, but I find myself grabbing for these AT LEAST once a week. With that being said, I don’t want to be an outfit repeater!! So I like to switch it up and style them differently each time. There is soooo much you can do with them. Check out all the ways I styled them below.

1. Jeans

Styling with jeans is probably one of the first ways people think of when wearing graphic tees. It can be really casual with sneakers or more elevated with heels. I went with the casual look, and styled a pair of straight leg denim with Air Force 1’s. This is my first pair of really true, straight denim since the 90’s. Not tight at the ankles or flared out at all. This style is by my absolute favorite denim brand. The oversized band tee is from Urban Outfitters. I absolutely love all the distressed holes, and the overall colors in the top. It’s one of their best sellers. I topped it off with gold accessories and the Dior saddle bag. A shoulder bag is really all you need, it brings a little more flair!

2. Biker Shorts

This look serves allll the sporty vibes. While the oversized t-shirt I’m wearing doesn’t technically have a graphic on it, I still consider it in the same category. These white biker shorts are such amazing quality, I highly recommend! I just recently learned I could double up the chain on this LV purse and I’m living for it! Dad sneakers and an Alo baseball cap complete the look.

3. Oversized Dress

Another good way to style a graphic tee is getting it a few sizes too big to be worn as an oversized dress. I used a canvas belt to give me some shape and cinch me in the middle— didn’t want to be looking like a garbage bag, lol. Black converse + longer socks, a classic black shoulder bag, hair up in a claw clip, with some sassy silver chain hoops. Done! This look could’ve also been done with over the knee black boots for something a little more sassy or fall inspired.

4. Sweats

Sweats are one of my favorite and most worn ways I pair graphic tees with. Feeling’ a little Kardashian like when I pair it with heels!! This lace up pair are super affordable! I went with a cropped graphic tee to show a little skin since I’m basically covered everywhere else, and a white leather jacket to layer. Sweats & graphic tees are also perfect while at home and lounging— makes me feel like I’m still a little stylish.

5. Skirt

The last look is this olive pleather mini skirt— it was part of the Nordstrom anniversary sale this year! I tucked the oversized black graphic tee into my bra all around, to make it a little cropped (while still not showing any midriff.. you totally could though if you wanted to). This was the only top I couldn’t find… tbh idk if I’d even recommend, it was definitely from a sketchy website in China 😳 Booties and tortoise sunglasses make this a great transitional outfit for fall.

I also shot a fun style video for Tik Tok/Instagram reels— check it out! Other ways I like to pair them are with leather leggings and booties (patent leather leggings are color too!), or with jean shorts. You can tie them in knots to make them more cropped… There are so many different ways you can experiment!! Have fun with it!
