How to Wear Midi Skirts — Modishly Mackenzie

Hi gals!! It’s me again! Happy April 🥰 almost taurus season, woooo.

This time I’m reporting on one of spring’s hottest crazes— midi skirts! I really love how a lot of longer lengths are coming into play these days. For the longest time, I felt like short shorts, mini skirts, mini dress, etc. were all that was in style (at least for my age group). I love the variety now! Sometimes you feel like wearing a bit more and covering up, but still want to be fashionable. I think this right here is the ticket.

I styled two looks, just like usual 😏 of course both outfits have at least one Nasty Gal item… I’m going through a major phase where I’m OBSESSED with shopping there. I raved about it on my cargo pants post too. Sales are a 24/7 thing with them, they do free returns and their customer service is always on top of their shit.

The first look was the more casual outfit. I wore a simple white graphic tee that read “it’s all good baby baby” (shout out Biggie Smalls) tucked into a linen button up midi skirt from Nasty Gal. I love the neutral color, of course. My exact tee is sold out, but I linked it just in case it comes back into stock and included a few similar options! I dressed it down with a pair of white sneakers— this pair is by Superga and they are my absolute fav. So so comfortable, there was not even a breaking in period! Highly recommend.

Next up is my one of my favorites to date. Especially considering the star item, this Amazon leopard skirt, was LESS THAN $20. I love the asymmetrical cut, flowy-ness and the ruffle details. It feels sooo soft too. I paired it with a simple black top and a new pair of western inspired white booties from Nasty Gal. So trendy, am I right?! Well, I guess everyone else thought the same because they are now sold out 😩 I searched to find a couple back up options for y’all (get the country reference?? 🤠).
