How to Style Biker Shorts

How many people have had a boy use the awful pick up line “is your bike parked out back?” when you’re wearing a leather jacket?????? Every girl in this world. As if they’re so creative and smooth. Well, they might start saying it again, but this time for a different reason— BIKER SHORTS.

Now I love a good pair of biker shorts. I currently own two pairs— these and these. I’m wearing the Nasty Gal version in my photos, and bought the others on Amazon Prime Day! I do think the Amazon Basics pair are a little longer and thicker material, which I like better. They seem to be just better quality overall. BUT it does have their logo on the back, so if you wanted a completely plain pair, Nasty Gal is the way to go.

I love how biker shorts can be styled as a real life outfit, ya know like out and about on the town, OR as an athleisure look that you can wear to work out (but still look cute & get less hot during the summer months). I wore mine with a pair of dad sneakers, a belted off the shoulder top, layered gold jewelry and my belt bag. I’ve always loved a good belt bag crossed over the front. PLUS had to use my Starbucks cup as a prop, of course!
